2008 West Lake Beer Festival To Be Open On 17th

It is learned that 2008 West Lake Beer Festival will be open according to the schedule, where we will see many new activities. The formal open time will be on the evening of October 17 , which will last for 10 days.

From 2002 when the first beer festival was held in Huanglong Gym Center, the festival has brought happiness to Hangzhou residents for six consecutive years, which has become the special character of Hangzhou and become one of the parts of the West Lake Exposition since last year.

General manager of Hangzhou Xihu Beer Company, Zhangzhiwu said we thought Hangzhou residents were less emotional  compared with those in other cities, but since the beer festival was held, he found it is not like what he thought.

In the past 6 years, the beer festival was held all in October and from this year, 2008 West Lake Beer Festival will be themed "Munich Lost In The West Lake".(Hangzhou Daily)
